Welcome Class –  Meets 2-3 times a year in y Room 21; Learn about the Church of the Nazarene on a Local and International basis.

 

New Beginnings S.S. Class – Meets in the Gym at the Church; Sunday – 9:50 am; "Facing Your Giants." By Max Lucado

 

Adult S.S. Class –  Meets in Room 27 at the Church; Sunday – 9:50 am; Studying Joel Olsteen’s book, “7 Steps to Living at Your Full Potential”.

 

College/Career S.S. Class – Meets in the Hospitality Room at the Church; Sunday – 9:50 am; “Exploring Jesus’ Parables”

 

 

Upper Room Small Group – Meets in the Upper Room; Wednesday – 7:00 pm. “Answers for Chicken Little- The Book of Revelation”.  Starting Wednesday, March 19.

Recreation and Activity

 

 

Hiking / Snowshoeing –  Hiking or snowshoeing at one of many trailheads in and around Rocky Mountain National Park and Loveland area. There will be a variety of trails from easy to challenging.  Enjoy the awesome creation God has supplied in our area and have fun and fellowship too!  Plan on one Saturday a month at approximately 8 am –depending upon the location of the trailhead.  Children are welcome – parents may need a pack for small ones. 

 

 

At the Stable  The group will be going to events that deal with animals (mostly horses).  We can go to horse shows, work with horses, ride, and make new items we can use.  This group is for the whole family and will be flexible in what we do with God’s Creation.  Horse ownership is not necessary.

 

Fellowship in Fly Fishing The group will have 3-4 fishing trips on Saturdays, starting in late March.  Meet at the church on scheduled Saturdays at 7 am then travel to fishing location. 

 

Men’s Softball (Summer Only) –  (May – July) softball league for men ages 16 on up. LAC card required. The games are played throughout the summer at the Barnes Softball Complex on Thursday evenings.

 

College & Career –  Variety of activities throughout the the year.

GriefShare® (Women’s group) –  Tuesdays, 9:30 – 11 am; Support group for those grieving the loss of a family member or friend.  The group is sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.  TBA

 

DivorceCare ® –  Topics include: What is happening to me?  The Road to Healing / Finding Help; Facing Your Anger and Depression; Facing Loneliness;  What Does the Owner’s Manual Say?  New Relationships; Financial Survival; KidCare 1 & 2; Forgiveness; Reconciliation; Moving On.  Video format, small group discussion.  TBA

 

Understanding Depression- Support group for those dealing with or helping someone deal with depression.  The group meets on Tuesday evenings.

 

Celebrate Recovery® - This is a Christ based program whereby we meet in gender groups to seek recovery from hurts, hang-ups, and habits in which we work through 8 Biblical Principles and 12 Steps of recovery. Childcare is provided.  TBA

 

Life Hurts…God Heals A 13 week course that provides lifelong tools for helping students find hope, answers, and directions for dealing with life’s pains.  The group meets each Sunday. TBA

 

Women’s Ministry

 

 

Young Mom’s Bible Study –  Moms 40 and under Bible Study. Multi-topics  . Meets in the Hospitality Room; Thursday, 9:30 – 11 am; dress is casual and coffee is served; childcare provided. 

 

Women’s Bible Study - Wed. Night  - Meets in the Hospitality Room  at the Church; Wednesday – 7 pm; Studying “Wisdom of the Word series… James , I & II Peter”.

Men’s Ministry

 

 

Men’s Prayer Breakfast –  The group meets the first Saturday of each month in the Church Auditorium at 7 am.  The men eat breakfast together following the prayer time at a local restaurant.  All men are welcome to attend.

 

Men’s Softball ( summer only) –  (May – July) softball league for men ages 16 on up.  LAC card required.  The games are played throughout the summer at the Barnes Softball Complex on Thursday evenings.

Pastor’s Prayer Group –  group meets in the Church Auditorium each Sunday morning at 6:30 am.

 

Pastor’s Prayer & Praise Group –  Meets in Room 25, Wednesday – 7 pm.  Studying The Book of Numbers.

 

Triple Cord Prayer Groups –  Individuals meet weekly with two other people to pray together.  Some groups meet at the church or other locations throughout the community.

 

Senior Adult Groups

 

Coffee Mug –  Meets in the Church Gym, Wednesday – 9:30 am.  Senior Adults meet for Coffee and Fellowship.  Anyone of Senior Adult age is welcome to attend and is open to the public.

 

Golden FellowshipMargaret Swanson, 663-1403; Meets for various activities once a month – activities listed in church bulletin; Adults 55 and up.

 

  

Golden Fellowship Exercise Class

Judy Henderson, RN., 593-0646; Simple, sit down exercises.  Meets every Wednesday at 9 am in the gym.  Judy is available to give blood pressure readings.

Service Opportunity Groups

 

Warm Hearts/ Warm Babies – Meets the third Thursday of the month in the Church Gym, 10 am – 2 pm; these ladies sew, crochet, knit and quilt baby items for the Crisis Pregnancy Centers of Loveland.

 

Life Choices/Birthright Pregnancy Centers –  These centers are always looking for volunteers.   If you have a concern for young moms and their babies, these places would provide wonderful opportunities for you to minister.

 

Bible

4X4 Groups –  Groups of 8 adults who meet once a month for fellowship in other’s homes, restaurants, etc.  Groups are changed every four months.

Christian Rodders Association – Meets the 3rd Saturday of each month in the Church gym – 6:30 pm.

Parent Freedom Night – Activities for parents of young children are scheduled every other month on a Saturday from 4:00 – 9:00 pm.  Childcare, including games and food are provided for $2/child/hour in the church’s gym.

 

 

 

Missions

 

Teen Work & Witness Team –  Our youth group makes an annual Work & Witness trip to assist others in the U.S. or Mexico; Ages 7th -12th grade.

 

Work & Witness Team – Group makes several trips throughout the year to other countries to assist our missionaries with construction of churches, etc.  If you have a heart for the lost and missions these trips could interest you!            

 

 

 

Music/Worship Groups

 

Adult Choir –  the choir practices in the Church Auditorium; Wednesday – 7 pm.  All adults are welcome to participate.

 

2nd Service Worship Team – the group meets in the Church Auditorium each week to prepare to lead worship for the 2nd Worship Service (am)

 

Youth Ministry

 

Teen  S.S. Class – Multi-topics Room 23  Sunday – 9:50 am

Youth Group – Meets in Room 23, Wednesday – 7 pm; Ages 7th -12th Grade.

 

Teen Girls’ Volleyball – Meets at the Church Gym each Saturday mornings during the school year 10 – 12 noon; The girls prepare to participate in Church of the Nazarene -  Colorado Zone and District Volleyball Tournaments; Ages 7th – 12th Grade.

 

 

Teen Boys’ Basketball – Meets at the Church gym each Tuesday night, 6:30 – 8:30 pm. during the school year; The boys prepare to participate in Church of the Nazarene -  Colorado Zone and District Basketball Tournaments; Ages 7th – 12th Grade

Children’s Quizzing –  Meets in children’s Worship Area; Wednesday - 7 pm throughout the school year. Journey into Genesis with Dr. Digalot and Canteen the Camel as you “time warp” back to the days of Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.  Starts Wednesday, September 5. Ages Pre-school – 6th Grade.
